TEAM TO PLAY WELLINGTON
TWO CHANGES MADE The Canterbury team to play Wellington at Lancaster Park on Saturday in the second Plunket Shield match of the season was announced last evening by the selectors (Messrs W. J. V. Hamilton and C. G. Crawford). The team is:—W. A. Hadlee (captain). W. McD. Anderson, J. G Leggat, F. B. Smith, P. Small, J. D. Alderson (Old Boys), A. R. Mac Gibbon (Old Collegians), P. O’Malley, M. E. Chapple (Lancaster Park), R. C. Webb. T. B. Burtt (St. Albans). The twelfth man is W. Bell (St. Albans). There are two changes in the team from the side which beat Auckland. Cameron was injured in the Auckland game, and Bell has been made twelfth man. Small is ’ a right-hand mediumpaced bowler, and Alderson, who will be playing his first representative match, is a fast medium right-hander. X
