DECEMBER RECORDS BROKEN (Rec. 8.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 27. A record-breaking warm wave brought unseasonable weather to the north-eastern area of the United States to-day. The temperature in New York City rose to a humid 60 degrees instead of the usual 30 degrees or lower. Boston had a temperature of 61 degrees, breaking a 54-year record. Portland thermometers registered 52 degrees instead of the usual 20 degrees.
