POLICY IN EVENT OF AGGRESSION PRESIDENT AND ENVOY ISSUE STATEMENTS (Rec. 7 p.m.) WASHINGTON, December 22. President Truman said to-day that fee United States was opposed to aggression against any country, whether it was a member of the North Atlantic Pact or not. Mr Truman made this observation liter he had conferred with Mr G. V. Allen, the United States Ambassador to Jugoslavia. Mr Allen told journalists that in presenting his credentials to the Jugoslav Government, he would make it dear that the United States was opposed to any aggression against Jugodsvia.
