Some major developments in our courses are held up by lack of suitable buildings, said the principal (Dr. D. E. Hansen), in his report at the break-up ceremony of the Christchurch Technical College last evening. “We hope that thtf ‘ Government will approve a grant for a new building block with technological laboratories below and classrooms above,’’ said Dr. Hansen. “With « we sbo pld b c able to eliminate some of the unsuitable ancient or temporary accommodation that has come our way in the last 10 years.” Speaking to pupils of the pending retirement of the principal after 31 years m charge of the school, the chairman of the board of managers (Mr M. E.
