COMMENT BY MR FRASER

“NO OBJECTION TO STATEMENTS ” (New Zeaiand. Press Association.)

..a PUNEDIN, November 25. .U Minister 1 of External Affairs, all that I have been concerned about is that Public Service regulations and practice should be observed in London as faithfully as they are in New Zealand, ’ said the Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) in a statement this afternoon when the cable message was referred to him. That view had been brought to the attention of the High Commissioner (Mr W. J. Jordan), he added. “I have no objection to any authoritative statements made by them,” said Mr Fraser, referring to statements made generally by any representative or association of workers in the High Commissioner’s office in London. “There could not be any adverse repercussions as a result.”
