TWO MINOR FIRES

Two calls to minof fires were received by the Christchurch Fire Brigade yesterday. The first was received at 11.35 to a fire in the exterior wall of a house occupied by Mrs Jane Nixon, at 131 Papanui road. No serious damage was done. The second call was received at 8.10 p.m. to 387 St. Asaph street, occupied by Gordon Anderson. There was a small fire in the kitchen and slight damage was done before the fire was put oi.it.
