CHRISTCHURCH SHOW AWARDS

A close contest between Canterbury Agricultural College and Mr R. J. Low for the Leonard White shield for most points in stud stock classes at the Christchurch Metropolitan Show respited in a win for the College by five points, the totals being 113 to 108. The College points were gained in English Leicester, Romney Marsh, Southdown and Corriedale sheep, Aberdeen Angus and Milking Shorthorn cattle, Berkshire, Tamworth and Large White pigs and a single entry in Clydesdales. Mr Low scored in English Leicester, Border Leicester, Romney Marsh, and Southdown sheep. With English Leicester and Corriedale< sheep, the estate of Jas. Reid filled third place with 88 points, and the estate of H. T. Little was fourth with 74 points, all scored in Corrietale sheep. Mr H. C. A. Sidey also in Corriedales, secured 39 points.
