BURWOOD HOSPITAL’S MALE STAFF

NEW ACCOMMODATION PLANNED Accommodation at Burwood Hospital for male nurses and porters was the subject of two reports to the North Canterbury Hospital Board yesterday. The hospital committee said that provision should be made for 12 porters and six male nurses. The building committee reported that plans had been submitted by the architects and the estimated cost of providing the quarters desired was £ 18,650. Its suggestion that an alternative scheme should be referred to the hospital committee, and further considered by the building committee, was adopted by the board.
