WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
Mairehau.—At the October meeting of the Mairehau Women’s Institute. Mr David Combridge gave an instructive talk on the growing of flowers and answered questions. It was reported that parcels for Christmas had been forwarded to the link at Fulbourn, and parcels were being sent to the institute's sponsored child in England. A collection for the lepers was taken. The husbands’ evening party is being held soon. Competition winners were Mesdames Rossiter, Gibsoh, and Compton.
