NEW BRIGHTON POWER BOAT CLUB
The New Brighton Power Boat Club held its first* meeting of the season on Saturday in windless conditions, with a high tide. Results were as follows:
Cruiser Race (about three miles).— Kauri (L. Brown) 1, Spray (J. N. Harle) 2. Ararua (L. Rasmussen) 3 Time, ISmin 36sec.
First Combined Race. Runabouts and Hydroplanes (three and a half miles).— Speedy (B. Johnson) 1, Pacific Star (D. V. Syme) 2, Atom V (A. Johnson) 3. Time, Bmin 35sec.
Second Combined Race - Hellfire (H. Fisher) 1, Speedy 2, Pacific Star 3. Time. 6min 21sec.
Four-lap Event (two miles).—Pacific Star 1, Speedy 2, Atom V 3. Time, 4min 15sec.
