National Bank of Australia, Ltd.—On both classes of shares the company advises a final dividend subject to audit of 3J per cent., making 7 per cent, for the year (last year 6J per cent.), payable November 30. ex November 17.

Bank of Adelaide.—A final dividend of 4 per cent., making 8 per cent, for the year (last year 7 per cent.), payable November 16, ex November 3.

Sharland and Co.. Ltd.—A final ordinary and .preference dividend of 2 per cent., plus bonus of 3 per cent, (free of social security tax), making 8 per cent, for the year (unchanged), ex October 21, has been declared. .The annual meeting is on November 4.

Electric and Plumbing Supplies. Ltd.— An annual dividend of 4 per cent, (unchanged), ex October 20. has been declared. The annual meeting is on October 27.

Christchurch Building and Society (Permanent). —A final allocation of interest of 3J per cent., plus per cent, profit, making 8 per cent, for the year (unchanged), will be made, payable November 1. Whitcombe and Tombs, Ltd.—A final dividend of 3d a share, plus bonus of Id a share, making 5 5-6 d for the year (last year 64 per cent.), has been declared. Bank of New South Wales.—A final quarter dividend of 8s a share, or 2 per cent., making 8 per cent, for the year, compared with 7J per cent, last year, has been announced.
