WEARING OF NAZI UNIFORMS
PENALTIES OF UP TO FIVE YEARS’ GAOL (Rec 12.5 a.m.) BERLIN, Sept. 23. The Western High Commissioners in Germany have signed a decree providing for punishment of up to five years imprisonment or a fine of .£lBOO for the wearing of Nazi or German Army uniforms or decorations, or clothes resembling such uniforms. Hurricane Sweeps Kyushu.— A sudden hurricane which swept Kyushu without warning yesterday resulted in six deaths. Thirty-one persons and 100 fishing boats are missing.—-Tokyo, September 23.
