AGRICULTURAL CLUB AWARDS
Boys’ and girls’ agricultural club awards for the 1948-1949 season in the North Canterbury and West Coast educational districts were approved at a meeting of the Canterbury Education Board yesterday. The Greymouth Harbour Board Shield for the West Coast district was won by the Koiterangi Upper School Club. Kakapotahi School Club was the runner-up. The Hawarden District High School Club won the Spencer Pennant, and the Waikari School Club was runner-up.
