RUDDY MEMORIAL CUP The Ruddy Memorial Cup meeting of the Christchurch Coursing Club was opened under ideal conditions on the club’s course at Sockburn yesterday. The meeting will be concluded to-day. The following are the results of yesterday's events: — First Round. —Lazy Foosteps beat Bonnie Chimes, Winning Shot beat Hasty Term, Loyal Prince beat Recreation, Minda’s Hope beat Balfour • Lass, Les Moyle beat File Alarm, Coonega Lass beat Leadership, Johnny beat Princess Betty, Sissy Sue beat Harbour Lights, Further Footsteps beat Imperial Lady. Second Round.—Minda’s Hope beat Leyal Prince, Coonega Lass beat Les Moyle, Sissy Sue beat Johnny, Winning Shot beat. Lazy Footsteps by default; Further Footsteps, a bye.
