BRYANT—On September 21, 1949, at his residence, 48 Leitch street, Sprevdon, William Harris, beloved husband of Ella Elizabeth Bryant; aged 83 years. KENNEDY—On September 22, at the Cook Hospital, Gisborne, Irene, dearly loved wife of Robert Kennedy, and mother of Athol, Angus, and Hamish; in her 56th year. To be interred at Gisborne on Saturday. MILNE—On September 21, 1949, at Christchurch, James George, dearly loved huspand of Mary Milne, Springston, and loved father of Cecily, Keith, Allister, and Gavin; m his 81st year. (Late of Fernside.) RICKMAN—On September 22, 1949 at Ashburton, Eveline Jane, third daughter of the late Mr and Mrs F. M. Rickman, late of Ashburton. Private interment. Baker Bros, and O’Reilly, Ltd. SWANSON—On September 21, 1949 at a private hospital, Christchurch. Emma’ Jane widow of the late John Swanson. 247 Riccarton road (late of Ashburton), and loved sister of Mrs G. D. Wilson, Greymouth. TULLY—On September 21. 1949. at Timaru, Alfred Clement, dearly loved hus- *£ r K 3ret Tully, and eldest son of Mrs E. Tully, 13 Cameron street, Dunedin interment to-morrow, Saturday at Timaru.
