The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the North l Linwood Tennis Club:—patron. Mr H. Smart; president. Mr F. F. Adams; vice-presidents.
U were elected; secretary-treasurer. Miss Shirley Elsom; auditor, Mr G. Hopkinson; club captain. Mr L. Fox: vice-cap-tain, Mr B. Crawford; committee, Messrs G. Turner, W. B. Fletcher. E. J. Donnithorne, R. Crawford, G. Elsom: junior representative, Mr E. Cormack: delegates to Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association, Miss S. Elsom and Mr E. J. Donnithorne; publicity agent, Mr E. J. Donnithorne. Opening day was arranged for October 8.
MOUNT PLEASANT CLUB The following officers were elected at the twenty-fifth annual meeting of the Mount Pleasant Tennis Club:—patron. Mr T. G. H. Buxton; president, Mr E. T. Chirnside: vice-presidents, 10 were elected; secretary-treasurer, Mr R. Tiso; auditor. Mr C. W. Evans: club captain, Mr E. W. England; vice-captain, Mr G. F. Roche; women’s captain, Mrs T. Gazzard: vicecaptain, Mrs M. B. Storey; coach, Mr W. S. Storey; committee. Messrs D. McHarg, J. Hewitt. W. S. Storey, Messrs T. Gazzard, M. Storey; delegates to the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs W. S. Storey and G. F. Roche.
