MIGRATION TO DOMINIONS

WISDOM URGED ON BRITONS (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 9 p.m.) WASHINGTON, September 5. Britain would never solve her economic problems until about one-third of her people emigrated to the Dominions, said the Population Preference Bureau in a report issued to-day. The report said that Britain’s present population was 15,000,000 more than the country could support, and made Britain second only to Japan as the world’s most crowded country. The report claimed that British emigrants would better their own living standards, help to make their homeland self-supporting, and greatly strengthen the thinly inhabited Dominions. Sucfy migration would also be in the best interests of the United States and world peace.
