TIN HAT CLUB TATTOO

Last evening the Governor-General (Sir Bernard Freyberg, V.C.) attended the monthly tattoo of the Tih Hat Club of the Christchurch Returned Services’ Association. Sir Erima Northcroft gave an address, and there was a programme of musical items. The chairman for the evening was Mr W. E. Brown. The guests of honour were Wing Commander A. B. Greenaway, Lieu-tenant-Colonel W. G. Morrison, Commander S. W. Hicks. Captain C. H. Upham, V.C. and bar, Mr H. E. Batchelor (R.S.A.), the Mayor of Christchurch (Mr E. H. Andrews), the Town Clerk (Mr H. S. Feast), and Mr W. S. Mac Gibbon.
