MAN REMANDED ON CHARGE OF ASSAULT
From Our Own Reporter TIMARU, July 30. Merekaka Tuatahi Rickus, single, aged 23, of Temuka, was remanded until Thursday, before Mr E. A. Lee, S.M., in the Timaru Magistrate’s Court this morning, on a charge of assaulting Miss Lucy Jean Underhill at Pareora on July 29 so as to cause her actual bodily harm. Detective F. R. Hearsey appeared for the police.
