RANGITOTO TO SAIL FOR N.Z. THIS MONTH

New Zealand Shipping Company’s new motor passenger and cargo liner Rangitoto will leave London on her maiden voyage to New Zealand, via the Panama Canal, on August 25. On measurement, her tonnage proved to be 22,000, which is 3000 tons larger than was estimated at the launching on January 12, and considerably larger than any other ship in the company’s service. The vessel will accommodate 400 opeclass passengers. A sister ship, the Rangitane, was launched at Clydebank on June 30. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS LONDON, July 30.
