MATCH TO DAY WITH N.S.W. (Rec. 8 p.m.) NEWCASTLE, June 17. The Maori team to play New South W. - les at Newcastle to-morrow is:— H W. Kenny. N. P. Chei rington, W. Taylcr, W. Lannigan, B. Couch, P. Smith, R. Beasley (one to be omitted); L. Raureti, A. Heperi, J. Matthews, A. L. West, R. Hohaia, T. Reid, A. W. Blake, C. Stirling, J. Marriner. Smith has suffered an ankle injury.
The team was unable to train to-day because of continuous torrential rain for two days. The ground is almost submerged. Officials say the match will be played “rain, hail, or shine.”
