Apanui, No. 7 West. TROPIC ARRIVES FROM LONDON An arrival at Lyttelton yesterday afternoon was the cargo ship Tropic, from London, via Suva. The vessel was to have arrived at Dunedin yesterday, but was diverted to Lyttelton. The vessel will discharge at Lyttelton and Dunedin, and will then return to Lyttelton for loading. PORT WAIKATO PROCEEDS TO CHATHAM ISLANDS The motor-ship Port Waikato, which put into Pigeon Bay on Thursday for shelter, resumed her voyage to the Chatham Islands yesterday morning. The Gale, which reported on Wednesday night that she intended sheltering in one of the bays of Banks Peninsula, arrived at Dunedin on Thursday.
