The picture has now been purchased It is being framed, and as soon as this is completed it will be handed tb the city for the Robert McDougall Gallery,” says Mrs Frankel. “The expenses incurred are as follows: —price of painting, £94 10s: share of transport and other expenses. £9 5s 9d; framing, £1 10s. Total: £lO5 5s 9d.” As £ll5 2s 6d was collected, it was proposed to give the balance, £9 16s 9d. to the Canterbury University College School of Art for a Frances Hodgkins prize, said Mrs Frankel.
