TABLE TENNIS
WORLD’S CHAMPION’S TOUR
. (New Zealand Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 12. The table tennis players, V. Barna and R Bergman, will arrive in Auckland on August 29 for an extensive tour. Bergman won the world championship in London last year. Both players will be accompanied by their wives.
The itinerary has not yet been completed, but the following is a list of definite’matches: August 29, v. Auckland, at Auckland; September 1, first test v. New Zealand, at Auckland; September 3, v. Taranaki, at New Plymouth; September 7, v. Wellington, at Wellington; September 8, v. Hutt Valley, at Lower Hutt; September 10, v. Hawke’s Bay, at Napier; September 12, v. Marlborough, at Blenheim; September 13, v. Nelson, at Nelson; September 15. play at Grevmouth; September 19, v. Otago, at Dunedin; September 20, v. Southland, at Invercargill; September 21. second test, at Dunedin; September 22, v Canterbury, at Christchurch: September 27, third test, at Wellington.
