MALE NURSES
Sir—The annual report of the superintendent of the Christchurch Hospital about male nurses does not jin any way reflect the opinion of the toatients. I was recently a patient of Jward 2, and although I have been an inmate of other private and public hospitals, I can say quite definitely Khat the efficiency of the male nurse, and indeed the sister in charge and ®ther nurses, compared more than favourably with other hospitals I have jbeen in. The male nurse in Ward 2 has the confidence and respect of at least 99.9 per cent, of his patients.— Yours, etc.. A RECENT PATIENT WARD 2. Hokitika, May 2. 1949.
