MR HOLLAND AND PUBLICITY
Sir, —If Mr Holland told the Australians the same story of New Zealand’s “unhappy” conditions as he told his Wellington audience on his return. he should be the last to complain of this country’s bad publicity in Australia. The constant belittling of New Zealand by politicians wishing to discredit their political opponents seems to me most unpatriotic and certainly not what we British call “cricket.” —Yours, etc., H. T. WILLIS. May 6. 1949.
