BRITISH POLICE LAUNCH
ATTACK NORTH OF HONG KONG
TWO INSPECTORS AND DETECTIVE KILLED (Rec. 10 p.m.) HONG KONG. May 6. Two British police inspectors and a Chinese detective were shot dead early to-day while they were asleep aboard a police launch anchored oft Port Island in Mirs Bay. 25 miles i.jjth-feast of Hong Kong. The murderers compelled the wounded coxswain of the launch to steer it to Chinese territory, where they stripped it of its armament. Mirs Bay is south of Bias Bay. a well-known pirate haunt on the south Chiha coast.
