AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS
CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN CANADA N.Z. DELEGATION TO ATTEND (New Zealand Press Association.) n WELLINGTON, April 15. New Zealand will be represented at the International Federation of Agricultural Producers’ conference »t gueiph. Canada, by a delegation Irom Federated Farmers of New Zealand consisting of Mr R. G. Buckleton and Al }?. re Y; The Minister of Agrl- & L. Cullen) announced that at the specific request of Federa.ted Farmers. Mr R. B. Tennent, As-sistant-Director-General of Agriculture would accompany the delegation as official adviser. ‘‘After the conference the delegates will visit certain localities in the un States, where climatic and soil conditions are similar to those of the Dominion,” said Mr Cullen. “The Government has agreed to Mr Tennent accompanying the delegation, to promote interest in New Zealand pasture seeds m the United States.” While on this mission Mr Tennent will arrange for official trials of New Zealand seeds by various research and extension organisations, and it is hoped that as a result of the mission the export market for New Zealand seeds will be widened.
