Mcßeath, and W. Dalton (s). The runners-up were J. Creba, S. T. Seward, L. Houston, and K. R. Smith (s). In the Carmine handicap pairs cup final, H. E. Nielson (lead) and C. G. Douglas (skip) beat J. Watson and E. Buxton. CITY COUNCIL BEAT SYDENHAM A City Council team beat Sydenham in a match played at the Sydenham green yesterday. Results:—Tait 15, Bowden 20; F. Andrews 18, C. Taylor 14 E. H. Andrews 16, R. C. Hocking 22: JClarke 12, G. Gibson 22; J. Shrimpton 28, W. Britten 21: G. Young 24. R. Watson 20: Little 23, S. Campbell 17: R. Pragnell 27, B. Haworth 19. Aggregates: Council 164, Sydenham 155.
