[Contributed by W. E. Moore.] In the Canterbury chess championship, Woolley is the only player still undefeated, but he is two pawns down in his adjourned game with Dalton. Further results are as follows: Senior.—Woolley beat Moore. Moorhouse beat Moore and A. S. Hollander, Colthart beat Moorhouse and Darwin. Intermediate.-*-S. Hollander beat White and drew with Miss King, White beat D. Manson and Newsome, Denys beat Newsome, Friberg drew with Golding. Junior.—Hayes beat Best, Gant beat Best.
