IRAQI RELATIONS WITH RUSSIA
(Rec. 7 n.m.) CAIRO. March 28. According to the newspaper “Akhbar el-Yom,” the Iraqi Government is considering breaking off diplomatic relations with Russia ‘‘because Iraqi Communists are plotting the Iraqi Government's downfall with the help of Russia and the Persian Left Wing Tudeh Party.”
The Iraqi Foreign Minister (Fadhjl Jamali). who is in Cairo, is said to have asked the Egyptian Prime Minister (Hadi Pasha) if Egypt would represent Iraq in Moscow if the Bagdad Government did sever relations.
