Air Mail to Solomons. — An air-mail service from Australia to the Solomon Islands will be instituted tomorrow. New Zealand will connect with this service by trans-Tasman service mails which closed at Auckland at 4 p.m. yesterday, and at fourweekly intervals. The rates fixed are each half-ounce letters 9d, postcards sd. and air-letter cards 6d.
