CHRISTCHURCH HARRIER CLUB
The Christchurch Harrier Club held its annual meeting recently and fixed the date for the opening run on April 2, when the members will be the guests of the club’s president, Mr E. L. Cordery. New Brighton, before he leaves for England. The following officers were elected:—patron, Dr. A. Haslam; president, Mr Eric L. Cordery; vice-presidents, Iff were elected; club captain, Mr G. E. Voller; deputy-captain. Mr G. H. Hedges; hon. secretary, Mr P. B. Rennell; assistant hon secretary, Mr A. R. T. Corcoran; hon. treasurer, Mr S. L. Brownie; delegates to centre, Messrs Voller and Rennell; committeemen, Messrs D. F. Power, D. G. Sadler/ and K. A. Hardie: hon. trainers. Messrs E. C. Brown and W. A. Kennedy; handicappers, Messrs Voller and Hedges; selectors, Messrs Voller, Brown, and Kennedy; life members, Drs. A. L. Haslam and Dr. R. O. Page, Messrs E. A. Sayers, G. L. Austin, F. H. Cookson, F P. Frye, and T. H. Wilhelm.
