N.Z. NOT REPRESENTED
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 1. The Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) said last night that New Zealand was not represented at the present New Delhi conference on Burma. The holding of the conference had been under discussion for some time, he said, but it had been called so hurriedly that it had not been possible for New Zealand, as well as other Dominions, to be represented. Out of these discussions, however, which were to a large extent of a preliminary nature, there might come a decision to hold another conference on a wider basis, and, if so New Zealand would be represented there.
