SYDNEY ENGAGEMENTS Brfce crossed to Wellington last evening in the charge of his trainer, L. J. Ellis, and he will leave for Sydney in the Wanganella to-morrow. *Jhe Royal Chief six-year-old, which will contest the Sydney Cup and other important autumn events in Sydney, looked in good order when worked on the plough at Riccarton yesterday morning. A rider has not yet been engaged for Bruce in his Australian engagements, but efforts have been made to get either J. Thompson, N. Sellwood, or W. Briscoe.
