MOUNT PLEASANT CLUB Two races were held in moderate easterly winds during the week-end by the Mount Pleasant Boating Club. Both races drew 14 starters.
Results of the first heat of the Cowper trophy were as follows: —Nike (M. Willyams), 5 per cent.. 57.79 min, 1; Kumara (S. Crotty), 8 per cent., 61.04 min, 2; Scamper (A. Shields), 3 per cent., 61.32 min, 3; Phantom (R. Cowper), scr, 61.78 min, 4.
The second heat of the Walton Cup resulted:—Lindy (G. Andrews), 1 per cent., 74.78 min, 1; Nike (M. Willyarns), 2 per cent., 2; Coriano (B. Lapworth), 2 per cent., 79.73 min. 3; Phantom (R. Cowper), scr, 80.08 min. 4.
