HOPE FOR AIRLINER ABANDONED

(Rec. 10 p.m.) HAMILTON (Bermuda), Jan. 20. Hope disappeared to-night of finding survivors frqm the missing British Tudor airliner Star Ariel. Aircraft continued fruitless sweeps over 150,000 square miles of sea to-day, without sighting any trace of the aircraft. British South American Airways today released a list of the passengers and crew of the missing airliner, indicating that they were now officially presumed lost.
