(Wyn.), and grandmother of John and Kathryn; in her 69th year. LUNDY—On January 16, 1949, at Richmond Station, Lake Tekapo, John Joseph, dearly beloved husband of Cpral Lundy; aged 56 years. PARKIN—On January 16, 1949, at Highbank, Colin, loved third son of Mr and Mrs H. C. Parkin. Bankside; aged 26 years. (Result of an accident.) POWLEY—On January 17, 1949, at Christchurch, Robert, dearly loved husbandof the late Elorence Ada Powley, 19 Cardiff avenue, Spreydon; in his 79th year. SAXON—On January 16, 1949, at Christchurch, Frederick Saxon (late of Hokitika); aged 76 years.
