YACHTING
TE HONGI ENTERED FOR TASMAN RACE
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 15. The 43ft schooner, Te Hongi, which last season represented the Evans Bay Yacht Club. Wellington, in the Tasman yacht race, and is now in Sydney after a Pacific cruise, has been entered for the 1949 contest. Four New Zealand ports are now represented in the race—Tauranga, Lyttelton, Auckland, and Wellington. The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, Sydney is again presenting a special prize to the first yacht to finish.
