For the first time a politician 300 miles away will address a gatherin’ jn Christchurch this evening x he politician is Mr K. J. Hol’yoake Deputy-Leader of the Opposition who will speak from Dannevirke over a toll circuit, and his remarks will be amplified at the Winter Garden The occasion will be a post-sesional address by the Leader of the Opposition (Mr S. G. Holland) to members et the National Party. Mr Holyoake wil be “on the phone’’ for about live minutes.

After a few days in Christchurch »t the end of the session, Mr Holland went to his farm, Greta Paddocks, and while there he prepared the address to be delivered this evening. A brief address before Mr Holland speaks will be given by Mr J. T, Watts, M.P.
