MOUNT PLEASANT TROPHY RACE The inter-club race for the Mount Pleasant trophy was sailed in a light to moderate north-east wind. Results:— Kestrel (R. Scott, P.P.Y.C.), scr, 3hr 22 min Isec, 1; Nike (M. Willyams, M.P. 8.C.), smin. 3hr 22min 12sec, 2; Winkle (G. La Roche, C.Y.C.), smin, 3hr 22min 18sec. 3; Scandal (G. Mander, C.Y.C.), 6min, 3hr 22min 41sec. 4; Vivid (H. England, M.P.8.C.), 3hr 22min 46sec, 5. CHARTERIS BAY CLUB A race for the C.Y.M.B.C. pennant was sailed in a strong north-east wind. Results:—Kismet, F. R. Mackey, IJmin, 1; Hesperus, R. J. Riley, scr, 2. Laconic and Manly did not complete the course. The first race for the Coombes Cup, sailed in a light southerly wind, resulted as follows: Tamaki, B. Smart, 6min, 1; Manly, Dr. M. Brown, 3}min, 2; Valada, D. Sinclair, IJmin, 3.
