RECOVERY BY BRITAIN

E.R.P. Administrator Impressed “DISPELS ALL MY DOUBTS ” (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.)- LONDON, October 28. “I am going back with the clear impression that Britain has made remarkable progress in making good her pledge of self-help,” said Mr Paul Hoffman, the European Recovery Administrator, before leaving London by air for New York last night. "To be honest, when I took this job in April it seemed to me that the goals Britain had set herself in the first year were unattainable, but I must admit that the progress made dispels all my doubts. “The very gallant and successful fight Britain is putting up to builcf up her exports and hold down imports, and thus achieve financial stability, is one which commands the world’s admiration.”
