DEPORTATION OF ALIENS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, October 28. Provision for the Minister of Finance to require an alien deported from New Zealand to pay for the expenses of his deportation and for the Minister to acquire the money or property of an alien to meet deportation expenses was added to the Aliens Bill by the Legislative Council to-day. The clause was suggested by the Opposition in the House of Representatives. Jhe bill was passed.
