PRINCESS TARTDELIGHTFUL ! It’s easy as pie to make palatepleasing Princess Tart with FetnerFlake pastry ... a dessert that is both tasty and delightiully different. |lb Fether-Flake pastry; jam or stewed fruit. Custard: 1 teacup milk; 1 dessertspoon sugar; 1 teaspoon flour; 2 egg yolks. Mix the yolks, flour, and sugar together, add milk, pour on to plate lined with Fether-Flake. Bake in moderate oven about half-an-hour. Spread with jam or steved fruit. Pile 2 stiffly beaten whites of eggs on top and bake a pale brown.
