The estate, valued at about £lO,OOO, consisted of house property and shop premises In Christchurch. The income was £4BO a year. The family had met their mother’s position fairly, and generously and, subject to the Court’s approval, it had been decided to give the widow all the furniture; the occupancy of one of the flats in the house properly, free of all outgoings; and a clear income of £7 a week.
The Court approved the compromite and made an order accordingly.
