New School for Timaru.— -The Canterbury Education Board hopes tn have the new Marchweil School at the*northern end of Timaru ready for the first term of next year- Author’ itjr to accept a tender has been re-» ceived from the Education Department. and work will be begun as soon as possible. The school will serve the new State housing area and will relieve congestion- at Waimataitaf. The plans provide for four classrooms, but the school will be expanded later. Cloakrooms, storerooms, staff admin®jstration quarters, a library and a dental clinic are also to be built.
