OBITUARY
MR JOSEPH WILLIS Mr Joseph Willis, one of the founders of the auctioneering firm of McKenzie and Willis, died at his home at 1 Bealey avenue yesterday. Mr Willis, who was born at Leithfield in 1866, went into business on his own account about 40 years ago after being for some time on the staff of the Post and Telegraph Department. Apart from his business. Mr Willis’s main interest was in lawn tennis, and he was for many years a member of the United Club. In later years he used to play with friends at his home. Mr Willis is survived by his widow, formerly Miss C. I. Hedley, two daughters. Miss M. Willis and Mrs E. Rich, and one son, Mr A. H. Willis.
