War Memorials.— The Wellington Returned Services’ Association favours war veterans’ homes as suitable war memorials. This was decided by the council of the association. A garden of remembrance, scholarships for the children of civilians or returned servicemen, a tepid batfy, Heritage aims for dependants of former servicemen and war veterans’ homes were suggested.—(P.A.)
