Salmond (Auckland) 3. Time, 58sec. Girls' Quarter-mile Sneed Championship, under 16.—N. Jarvis (Dunedin) 1. S. James (Christchurch) 2, B. Ramsay 3. Time, 62 3-ssec Junior Two-Step Pairs, under 16.—A. Young and D Nove (Wellington) 1, L. Neil and L. Fox" (Christchurch) 2. J. Curran and B King (Dunedin) 3. Junior Boys’ Solo, under 14.—8. Kylie (Wellington) 1. B. King (Dunedin) 2. Officers elected at the New Zealand Roller Skating Association’s annual meeting to-day were: president. Mr J. S. Eright (Auckland); vice-president. Mr K. H. Southern (Christchurch): secre-tary-treasurer. Mrs H. A. Allchurch (Christchurch); council. Messrs N. Wingham. F. Mong (Dunedin). A. L. Power, H- A. Allchurch (Christchurch). A. Duncan, G. Manson (Wellington), and F Pyecroft (Napier). It was decided to hold the 1949 championships at Auckland.
