Chimney Fires.—Two chimney fires were put out by the Christchurch Central Fire Brigade yesterday. The first call was at 11.45 a.m., to 23 Saxon street, Linwood, occupied by Mr Leonard Newnham. At 6.52 p.m. . the brigade was called to 92 Poulson street, Addington, occupied by Mr N. W. J. Headley. No damage was done in either fire.
